9am. There had been a heavy rain shower a few hours earlier, with thunderstorms in the forecast for the afternoon. Bright sunshine late morning, but then .....
Around 12:30pm a very active storm system came through with strong westerly winds ...
... that churned up the water to make it look as if it were boiling as it hit the boats and wharf.

I heard about the hail on the Gulf Shore, and this is what I found 5.5 hours after the storm (near the 7th Day Adventist Camp) on my way back home ....
Just east of the golf club .....
.... the creek is flowing right under this cottage.
Number five fairway has another pond!
Overflow from number one pond, across number one fairway and flowing easterly between number six tee and fairway towards Langilles.
Wild!
