The Golden Glow plants are leaning into the yard forcing me to move even further from the original picture-taking-spot

So busy enjoying Harboufest, I forgot to take a backyard photo.

Part of the day's events were boat rides up Pugwash River.



Three osprey's on a nest near Pugwash Junction, which is as far up the river as we went.

Damp morning. The rest of the day was mainly cloudy and a little cooler than recently.

We needed some rain - but hope not too much!

Much needed rain overnight and most of the day. Low 20s C

Much of the "golden glow" (Rudbeckia laciniata "Hortensia" in the foreground) was knocked down by the rain. Should have tied it back earlier.

Snow on the Mountain or Bishop weed (Aegopodium podagraria) and Evening Primrose (Oenothera)

Catalpa tree is about 8 years old and growing really well, now it is too tall for the deer to prune it.

This is the first year for this Catalpa to blossom.
