9amAfter an unusually icy and snowy winter, the Canadian Salt Company stock piles are down to levels where we can actually see the plant, which is usually hidden behind them.

Slowly, methodically and with great purpose, a porcupine (the black blob in the picture) approached my elm tree and climbed to about 60' for the night, nibbling on a few twigs on the way.
